This is a website that is dedicated to the memory of the 2/15th Battalion
Second AIF.

As outlined by President Gordon in the December 2011 issue of Caveant Hostes, the club is presenting a perpetual trophy to commemerate several battalion members who were killed at El Alamein.  Of course this shield also commemerates all of the members of the battalion who were killed, wounded or fought at El Alamein.

Gordon wrote:

We are giving some thought to having a shield made to present to the top cadet in Alamein Company at the Royal Military College Duntroon. This shield would be of a perpetual nature with possibly some small personal award to the relevant staff cadet in each graduation class. This is to be part of our ongoing contact with this company, two of whose platoons carry the names of two of our battalion's officers, namely Bill Cobb M.C. and Bar, and Keith Magno the battalion C.O. both being killed at El Alamein.  

Secretary Steve now has the completed shield ready for handing over to Duntroon.  Here is a photo of the front of it. Note the simple message on the small central shield - "FROM US TO YOU".
