2/17 Battalion AIF
Facta Probant - Deeds Prove
The 2/17th Bn and the 2/15th Bn (along with the 2/13th Bn) were both part of the 20th Brigade in the Middle East, New Guinea and Borneo during WW2. Their experiences during 1939-1945 were similar, and I'm sure that so are the interests of their members and their relatives.
Look for http://www.217BattalionAIF.org.au now that it has relaunched (15 July 2010).
Unfortunately, the site now seems to be down. I have a copy of the content however.
